Philippine budget airline Cebu Pacific is increasing the frequency of flights between Brunei and Manila from three to four times a week starting January 7, 2012.
With the new flight, the airline has effectively maximised the approval from Bruneian authorities to service the route up to four times a week.
In a statement released yesterday, Cebu Pacific said it will also be adding flights to Singapore and Beijing amid strong demand. It will also increase seat capacity for flights to Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh City.
Candice Iyog, Cebu Pacific vice president for marketing and Distribution, said the airline offers the most number of flights between the Philippines and Singapore, with direct flights from Manila, Cebu and Clark.
“We recognise Singapore as a high-traffic route for leisure and business, so we are adding more flights to meet the demand.
“We are also the only low-cost carrier operating direct flights from the Philippines to Brunei and Beijing,” she said in the statement.
