AeroSvit, one of Ukraine’s largest air carriers, will on October 22 open non-stop flights between Kyiv and Colombo, a resort and tourism center in Sri Lanka’s west, the air carrier said in a statement Wednesday.
AeroSvit starts developing a new direction with three flights a week – Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. The return flight to Kyiv is available on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. The flight travel time between the cities takes approximately 9 hours.
The line will operate wide-body Boeing 767 aircraft. At Boryspil Airport the flight to Colombo will be connected with flights from Stockholm, Copenhagen, Budapest, Vilnius, Warsaw, Prague, Sofia, Riga, Moscow, Minsk, New York, Toronto, Tel Aviv, Istanbul and other points of the AeroSvit route network.
